Cello & Voice

 

I have enjoyed playing the cello  for many years. ​The cello's rich, deep sound is what got me to become fascinated with the instrument in my elementary school years. My supportive parents found me a great teacher at Lisle's Violin Shop in Houston Texas and I have been playing ever since. Some highlights have been playing for "The Wizard of Oz" musical in Texas and winning first place at a national school competition during my 11th grade year of high school. 

 

Having played the cello for many years has allowed me the opportunity to meet great musicians along the way. One night after performing with a group at a wedding the thought occured to me to offer musical services specifically tailored for weddings and no other events. By doing this, the practice time for musicians would be lowered which in turn would allow me to offer lower rates. I believe it is a win-win for folks who are looking for specifically seasoned "wedding" musicians and not general entertainers. My goal for Wedding Strings is to create the right ambiance suitable for an enjoyable wedding at a reasonable price.
